Some of these photos were published in Desert Rise - Arnhem Descent, The 10th Parachute Battalion in the Second World War.
We identified the officer on the left in E 24622 as Captain Lionel Queripel. He was killed the following year during the Battle of Arnhem and awarded a posthumous VC.
