was having coffee with an old friend awhile back and he said his father in law was a 3 para in ww2...he brought along a great photo of the man today Richard Dickie Moore from Northern Ireland. Ill upload the pic when I transfer it from my phone later this evening...has anyone came across this man in their research...

    Hi Mark,

As you're no doubt aware, publications on 3 Para during WW2 are virtually non-existent at the moment. It's possible your man may be mentioned in the book "Brotherhood of the Cauldron" by David Truesdale as this deals with Irishmen (North and South) who fought with 1st Airborne Division.

    All the best.........:)
