Please can anyone help? My father, Corporal Denis Henry Springett, was a tank commander of a Churchill tank who transferred on 13 Jan 1944 from the RAC to the RE(204 Field Co ?) and eventually made it to Hamburg - I have a Residential Pass issued on 1 Sept 1946. Does anyone have any history regarding him or the "trip" to Hamburg?

Hi, I am researching my Grandfather who was also a tank commander of a Churchill Tank, and was also in RE 204 Field Co. Please do let me know if you ever found out anything about this.
