    Hi Everyone

My interest is in incidents in which civilians died in the UK in WW2 so mainly the Blitz, the Baedeker raids, the hit-and-run raids, the Little Blitz, V1s and V2s. Despite this having happened in streets all around us and to people only a generation rot wo before us, we know so little about it.
I have a list of incidents I am researching myself but if anyone has queries about something important to them then please send them to me.
    My resources:
    (i) CWGC civilian roll of honour arranged by date and place of incident
(ii) a copy of the rare book of bomb damage in the London County Council area
(iii) a library of around 200 other books
Plus a mind that stores weird bits of knowledge.

    Best wishes

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew

    It a very interesting subject.

Re the Rare book would that be The London County Council
    Bomb Damage Maps, 1939-45 ?

If you can start a thread based on information you are willing to share I am sure myself and other forum members will be interested and be able to add further information.

I'd be interested in any information relating to the East Sussex area, bombings, strafing, V1 and V2's and whatever else you might have.
Recently retired here from Chiswick, not far from Edensor Gardens!
Look forward to seeing more from you in due course
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Andrew and welcome to the forum.
Living in Hornchurch I am aware of much bomb and missile damage in the local area (LB of Havering). There is a good book covering this area: 'Hitler Versus Havering', sure you have seen it. Look forward to seeing your posts.
