Hi, I'm just working through my Grandad's Army Service records for 1941 and as per the attached see that he was attached to (I think it says) NCW Trng School, Catterick. I'm presuming that Trng stands for training, and I know that Catterick has a large garrison. Does anybody know what 'NCW' would stand for? At this time he was with the 70th (Young Soldiers) Battalion, The West Yorkshire Regiment. He had already attended number 6 Infantry Training Centre.
