Naval Force 'G'.

Exactly one year ago today I reserved a space in the Gold Beach thread for details of Force 'G'. Today I have posted a sizeable chunk of information, much of which throws more light on the operation of the other naval forces on D day.

I have given this the title 'The last ten miles' since it deals with naval activity from the Lowering Position ten miles out to sea to the beach.

This will not show as a new post but can be found on Gold Beach, Page 3, Post 62.
