Hello guys we have just finished our trench. Natalie would like to say a BIG THANKYOU to all who have helped her with this project of a WWI Trench. Like myself she has really enjoyed doing this and reading all the links and diagrams that you have given us to help us with this project and also the words of encouragement along the way (even the cowpat remark Za !) Thanks. This is what makes this forum GREAT there is always somebody out there who is eager to help with whatever you are doing. Photos to follow.
A very creditable effort, Natalie, I hope you get a good mark on this Great teamwork, I liked especially the sandbags - which had never occurred to me - and the planking on the trench floor!
That really is rather good. You should all be proud. Let's hope you've all caught the modelling bug & we can see some more. Natalie can now bore her friends rigid talking about parapets, parados, firesteps, duckboards etc etc
If there a 'Gold Star' award from the teacher for this fine piece of work, who will be getting to keep it: daughter, daddy, or daddy's consultants? (Well done to daughter - she should of course have the Gold Star!)
It's a great bit of advanced Blue Peter. Well done, it's really good Jules. Pardon my ignorance, but who's Peter?
Pardon my ignorance, but who's Peter? Long running BBC TV children's show. They used to make lots of stuff out of junk. Examples here. BBC - I Love Blue Peter - The Makes For example..
