I am 17 years old. Is this a good starting collection? All of these guns i have bought on my own at various stores and gun shoes.

What do you think this collection could be valued at?

Here is a list of the guns.

American Springfield 1941 M1 Garand. Prime condition. Bought for $950

British Enfield MK II. Prime Condition. Bought for $200

Soviet M38 Mosin Nagant. Prime Condition. Bought for $150

Persian Mauser, 8MM. Prime Condition. Bought for $495.

Did I get good deals on these guns?

    Welcome to the forum

    quite a collection

regarding the value ,you would have to speak to a dealer in these types of weapons to gain an accurate valuation.

What is a British Enfield MK II ?

    Do you mean a Lee-Enfield No.4 ?

I believe you heavily over paid on the Mauser, by quite a long way - but the rest look like quite good purchases. (Knowing some US prices)

I would suggest adding a F/S Winchester M1 Carbine to your collection

I have an Ishapore made SMLE no. 1 Mark III. It's in great condition and has all matching serial numbers. I shoot it at the range sometimes. I also load my own ammo for it.
    I paid $450 (Canadian) for it. It's a keeper..................I love it.
I used to have an Enfield .38 caliber revolver. It was a thing of beauty but stupidly I sold it. I also used to have a Lee Enfield No. 4, made by ROF in 1944...........sold it too. Wish I still had it!
