Missing Soldiers - Disappeared. Skulduggery or done a runner?

    At National Archives couple of weeks ago, researching MIA's. Found this rather ominous entry!

    There was no such thing as 'MIA' in the WWII British Army, and that can be confirmed by the document that you have provided. Missing means exactly that.
