The good guys are part of the side you are on. The bad guys are the terrorists. The bottom line is that no army likes to fight an urban war, and that's the case in Iraq and Afganistan.
There are more than video clips on youtube than the one you posted, some are quite realistic, like the Islamic sniper!
Lets face it we in the west are not very well liked by some people both at home and abroad!

Im agaist that war.And as the "terrorist" said this is not your war.Any Bulgarian is agaist that war but our govermant send Bulgarian Soldiers there. They fight in big battles ,we give loses i think 6 of our soldiers died by a terrorist who entered in our base with a truck and expload.
For Afganistan ,our boys there are under a mortar fire day and night. Our coutry shown that we could be a strong ally ,we send a battle ship near Lebbanon with a peacekeeping mission. We have a peacekeepers in Kosovo with KFOR.And we had a medical battalion in Cambodia and we lose some soldiers there.
We made some strong allys. The Bulgarian people thanks to USA,France,England for there support for ours Bulgarian Medics in Lybia sentenced to death.
But lets get back to the topic those iraqi rebels. Are defending there coutry agaist ocopators. You should try to see the things by there eyes.
Its every man duty to fight for the defence of his motherland.

Question is Dani, how many of the Iraqi terrorists are actually from Iraq? from what I understand the great majority are from every other country but Iraq.

I wasn't speaking for the terrorist who go somewhere and blow some inosent people.I was speaking for the people who defend there coutry. Its there duty kitty you should understand them if the French invide England im sure a lot of people will show resistence.
What the word terrorist mean? In our days terrorist mean US enemy in the past this word mean a criminal in Bulgaria.Usually well armed criminal who have hostages. But now we call the people who defend there coutry terorists?
In fact this is normal. In 19 century the Bulgarians who was defending there coutry and fighting for the liberation were called "haiduti" and that word mean criminals.
History teach us lesons that we must never forget. And we aweys repeat the mistakes we done in the past.
    Ocupations aweys fail.

Personally i call a person defending their own country a freedom fighter or militia. The problem comes where foreign terrorists and the few home grown ones (any country) use terror tactics. Hence the name terrorist. Blowing up and targeting innocent civilians does not get the job done.
Look at Northern Ireland, 30 odd years of terrorist activity and the nationalist etc got nowhere. The instant they started talking, another matter entirely.
Question is was it a real 'invasion'. Please don't shoot me. But to me an invasion means going in to deliberately take over and own a country. Now I know America has made a complete mess of iraq, and that was purely because they went in with a gung-ho attitude and didn't think it through, but they do intend getting out of there as soon as they can and leaving Iraq to the Iraqis.
Now this is the plan, and i admit America isn't what you would term good at this kind of thing. But at least they do intend to leave. Some time. In the next decade. ish.
So why are foreign terrorists being harboured and aided in Iraq and plunging the country into civil war when the 'invaders' have every intention of going home as soon as they can?
Sorry if this is a bit mixed up, but I never quite know hopw to phrase what i want to say, and always end up upsetting someone, and I apologise in advance if I have.

Im sure very few soldiers want to be in Afganistan or Iraq. I do not agree in all aspects with what is being done, I will support the US Military and its allies no mater what the situation.

I dont support wars even if my motherland is involved. We live in 21 centery not 14 centery.I still dont know why the Americans started the war in Iraq a lot of people said it is for the oil but i dont know.

However i respect US.Bulgaria and USA become great friends and allys.US suport us like no one did befor ,they are our new comrades now :D

No, the Iraqi people are not responsible for 9/11. But maybe Saddam was supporting terrorism And he played a dangerous game, goading America with weapons it turns out he probably never had.
I believe innocent people have died, but in very few cirumstances was it deliberate. Our own soldiers have been killed in a number of American 'freindly fire' incidents.
I don't support the war either, but I do support the troops who have no choice but to do a politicians dirty work.
As to why America started the Iraq war, lord knows, though Dubya's pride may have played a big part in it.

Saddam never had weapons for mass destruction. He supported terrorism as many arabians did.He hated US like every arabian. And he did horible things. But what he did was not involving US.
And kitty the peacekeeping soldiers in Iraq can chose to be there or not to be there. Most of them are there for the money.Expecialy Bulgarians. If you ask a Bulgarian soldeirs what in the damn hell he is doing in Iraq he will tell you that he is defending his coutry but actualy he is there because of the money. Those people are not soldiers they are hitmans.
Me too i was in Kosovo because of the money and because some of my friends asked me to come with them. There is no such a thing as peace keeping there is ocupation.

Dani i did say Saddam probably NEVER HAD the WMD's. However he played the game as if he had and didn't learn when to back down. Promptly put Americas back up and away we went.
As to being there for the money: British personnel aren't. They get minimum wage which in this country is nowhere near enough to live on. They don't have proper equipment. Their families are living in squalid houses and they can't shoot back unless they are fired at twice.
As to being hitmen, I don't ruddy think so. Please don't chuck the majority or hardworking troopers in with the eejits found everywhere.
And its hard to keep the peace when you can't even find it.

I'm going to withdraw from this thread before i say something that'll upset someone else.

I personally don't think that the British have any business in Iraq but anyone with any appreciation of the unselfish part that the armed forces have played in our history over the last few hundred years will suspect that they don't want to be there. That said, they are there and whilst this situation endures, then I don't think that there will be many on this forum who would want to contribute to an atmosphere where their chances of a safe return are reduced.

Let's not forget that the bombers are killing far more civilians than foreign military so it would not be unreasonable to assume that the majority of Iraqis would prefer that it stop. If that were to occur, I have no doubt that the British Forces would be home within six months.

I dont know why everybody claimed that this video from youtube was iraqi propaganda? The people just said the true and what they think and they done this in very polite way with really good english and nice tone.

Thanks for your understanding Payne i balive that your the only guy that see the way from the eyes of the defenders.Sometimes the people in this forum cant understand me mostly because i cant write on english really good but i can speak far much better. And some times the people here dont understand me simply because the diference betwen the east europen way of thinking and the west europen is really large.
