I am a journalist writing an article on the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of WW2 and would be keen to speak to any veteran regarding their memories of the first few months of WW2. I am interested in discussing how people felt about the threat from Germany, the determination of the nation and the willingness to sacrifice. I would also like to hear how people coped with family members going to war. The article will be the voice of people involved with direct experience, not my voice. I hope it will help current generations understand the mood of the nation at the time. Please contact me via email on danny.buckland@blueyonder.co.uk or on 07973 627490. Thanks and regards - Danny Buckland
Welcome Danny - am sure some of our veteran members can help. Will you be able to provide us with a link to any eventual article that goes online?
