Medal 60th Anniversary of the end of WW2 - For Service to Australia

Found this among my late brothers effects. I had forgotten that they sent them out to all the veterans' families.

This medal was sent to families of those who fought in the services commemorating the 60th anniversary of the end of World War 11.

I have put both sides together however the scanning of the coin does not do it justice as it is a highly glossed golden colour similar to the photo copy.

The medal came in a display box with Australian Government and department of Veteran Affairs on the face.
