    Hello everyone

This is a big ask, but I wonder if anyone can help me find the descendants of the 5 men listed below. I want to quote from their books and would like to ask permission if at all possible. I've given their basic info and in a couple of cases have identified the names of relations to whom they dedicated their book. The publishers of the books seem to have gone away (apart from Bishop, who was published by Corgi in 1977. Any suggestions very gratefully received:

Fred Hirst: “A Green Hill Far Away” - Sherwood Foresters 2/5th Battalion 4758633; captured Tunisia Feb1943 - son Alan

George Mann: “Over the Wire” - 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade; captured fall of Benghazi April 1942 - daughters Georgia and Keena - emigrated to Perth Australia 1956

Gilbert Broadbent “Behind Enemy Lines” - Signaller 60th Field Regiment Royal Artillery; captured November 1941 Battle of Sidi Rezegh

Jack Bishop “In pursuit of Freedom” - Seaman Gunner in submarine HMS Oswald sunk in Straits of Messina July 1940 - actual name W J Bishop

Roy Marlow MM “Beyond the Wire” - RAF Air Gunner (joined age 15) crashlanded Western Desert June 1942
