Login (and out)

    Two issues with me.

    Starting today, for a time I couldn't log in. I came back later and was allowed to, but now I have to log in every time I come to the site. I even ticked the 'keep me logged in' box.

    The second is, for some months now I can't go from the home page to a post which I have received an alert, without getting a pop-up ad. This is the only site this happens to me. Most annoying.

    Anyone else? Suggestions?

    Clear cache & cookies.
    That ought to sort most things.
    First issue very much sounds like a corrupted cookie.
    Second might flow from that too, though not so certain.

    Not getting any reports of similar issues site-wide.

    If unsure on Cache/cookie clear, tell me the browser you use and I'll point you at how.
    It happens.

    I've been having an issue logging in and staying logged in, particularly on my phone (native Samsung Browser) and now on my MacBook (Safari).

    I often have multiple tabs or browser windows open, which seems to be connected with the issue. Closing everything and flushing the cache and cookies solves the problem—as you say—but I don't have to do this on other Xenforo sites.

    Not a complaint, just a curious observation.

    Cleared my cache & cookies so I can log in with no problems. Thank you.

    Still getting the pop-up ads, though. It might be on my end.

    Wait one, the ads seemed to have disappeared too. Hallelujah!
