...for sure you all are aware about the combined Special Forces operations of 13./14. September 1942. In particular I would look for some published reference (except Gordon Landsboroughs "Tobruk Commando") and photos etc. in relation to Operation Agreement (the attack on Tobruk). (I may ask for the other operations in separate threads then...)
Wiki info on Op Agreement for those who didn't know - Like me Op Agreement Kuno there doesn't seem to be much infomation available on Op Agreement on google. Apart from the link I posted above (I hope you don't mind) I found this book about it. Massacre at Tobruk Cheers Andy
Presume that you just don't like that operation because it was not thaaaaaat successful for the Commonwealth side ;-) Anyhow - there are photos in one of the German books. They were published withoud the author being aware what he has published amongst many other photos of a war correspondent. Just showing the aftermath of the fighting. Some "San Marco" soldiers. Prisoners. Dead people.
Kuno its not that I don't like it ....Win loose doesn't bother me. I just don't know that much about campaigns in Africa during WW2. Infact I know very little about WW2 compared to some on here Cheers Andy
A good article on Operation Agreement was posted on Commando Supremo: http://www.comandosupremo.com/operation-agreement-axis-annihilation-of-allied-commando-forces-september-1942.html
The author of that article can be ropy with his research, and is not willing to correct errors that have been pointed out to him. Not read this one, but something to be aware of. In the end the articles on Comando Supremo are like Wikipedia minus the herd corrective functions. All the best Andreas
