I would be interested to learn in some detail about the programme of activities that a newly enlisted man would follow when he reported as a rating for duty to:
HMS RALEIGH Torpoint, 13 Aug 41 to 20 Oct 41
And then what training activities happened when they transferred to:
HMS DRAKE Devonport, 21 Oct 41 to 7 Nov 41.
The dates are from a RN service record.
Grateful for the help and advice from forum members.

Best bet is to get a copy of
Hostilities Only: Training the Wartime Royal Navy Paperback – 5 April 2004
    by Brian Lavery (Author)
    Quite cheap on Amazon.

Thanks Tim for the book recommendation.
I do have a copy which I bought second-hand from Abe books. It is an excellent resource.
I was looking for a little bit more detail than that given in the book.
Now having re-read pp51-2 I think my question is: what was the syllabus for Part 1 Disciplinary Training in 1941?
Grateful for any help or guidance.
