George Bellamy enlisted in the Lincolnshire Regiment between 1932-33. He transferred to the 5th Battalion, The Sherwood Foresters on 1st May 1943. I recommend getting a copy of his service records/the war diary for the Sherwood Foresters between May to October 1943.

Hi, Could I get some information please on the 5th Sherwoods for the 13th October 1943. I am researching Private George Rushton who was killed on that date. I also have another who was killed during the crossing of Volturno River, from
    2/5th Batt Leicestershire Regiment.
    Thank you :)

The 'House Static OP' on the sketch is the same as I marked on the map in post #8 as 'Farm'.
