Keel Line -Sunderland built shipping

    Mr Jinks Bit of a Cad

    The 'Keel Line' featured the names of 8,100 ships but since the opening of the `Keel Crossing` (New footbridge over the River Wear) there are now up to 9,000 ships built on the Wear commemorated . I took some photographs of those built around WW2 but if anyone has a particular ship on the line they want I`m happy to return and photograph it ?

    What a list! Sadly many were war losses. Perhaps the one that should g down in history is the Empire Liberty, the mother of the US Liberty ships
