I've been trawling the net, with no luck, looking for some background info on the two camps.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction.

Nicks, nine and a bit years after your insert. I have written a book "The Borneo Graveyard 1941-1945", 492 pages and hard cover, which covers both Batu Tiga POW Camp (Jesselton) and Batu Lintang POW and Internee Camp (Kuching). If you are interested, I am the only outlet for my book in the UK; the other is my publisher in Kota Kinabalu. The book is £25 plus £4.87 p&p Total £29.87. I have attached my book flyer.

    John,
May be a bit far fetched, but Seattle /USA have a twinning agreement with Kuching.
