Does anybody know if RAF has used this version? If yes, can you attach a photo? I own a well-preserved ex Swiss army piece and I would like to do it in aircraft marking.
By the time M38 Jeeps were in use, Britain was working on the home produced Austin Champ and Land Rover. There may have been odd local use due to supply issues but as a rule the answer is no. Sorry. Keith Matthews

How about RAAF in Vietnam?? 043460 Frederick William (Fred) Heuke, pilot of No 35 Squadron in civilian clothes leaning against jeep during a relaxing period of R & R (rest and relaxation). Heuke served in Vietnam from 22 October 1968 until 22 October 1969. A jeep pumping exhaust gas into a well sealed No 9 Squadron, RAAF, helicopter to kill a snake which had entered the helicopter.
