As some of you know I help out occasionally at the RAF Regiment Museum Archive. The other week we were going through some donations that had not had anything done with them and we came across an envelope that seemed pretty full. When we opened it it help a load of newspapers and parts of newspapers from 1944 mostly from India. However the one that attracted my attention was a Sunday Pictorial from 1943 about a young man called Jack Churchill. At first I thought he was an imaginery hero but after only short research in the LG it appeared he was a real one. I contacted the person listed for the sqn he was on and this is the result F/O. Jack Churchill for your delectation. I am still with the help of Rootschat doing some research about the family who he lived with and will let you know more.
