    Hi everyone

I went to the IMW and Churchill War Rooms last week and they were two of the best places I have ever visited in London.

Standing next to a Sherman Tank for the first time really made me realise just how difficult it must've been for my father to recover them when they broke down or were damaged.

The War Rooms was a fascinating insight into the life and legacy of the wartime PM. A fitting tribute.

if you haven't been already, I would highly recommend it.

Cheers Gus - the IWM was closed for it's big refurbishment when I visited London a couple of years back and for some odd reason I never made it into the war rooms but I did spend a bit of time walking up & down Horse Guards Parade looking at all of the memorials.

Maybe I need to get back there again....
