    Hi all,

I am looking at the service record of a Grenadier Guardsman. He attended a month's course between 8 Jan and 4 Feb 1942 at D Ro's School, Southgate.

Can anyone ID the course and location please.

    Cheers

The "D Ro's" bit you've typed might be a dodgy abbreviation for "Don R" (Despatch Rider).
A despatch rider course in Southgate maybe? Not wide open spaces I grant, but?

Was your Guardsman in the ranks, or an officer?

    Kind regards, always,

    Jim.

He was a private soldier. It's definitely D Ro School at Southgate, would that be London. You could be right though Jim. He attended a motorcycle course of instruction at the D&M School in Keswick in 1944. Cheers
