This attachment is taken from my Father's P.O.W. log. The artist Les Calvert is unknown to me but he was obviously imprisoned with my Dad at Fallingbostel, just shortly before they got moved to Stalag Luft III and from there participated in the "Long March" before liberation. The sketch portrays my Father's tours. The first tour was with Hampdens and 50 Squadron. His second tour was with 97 Squadron and Lancasters and of course his third tour was in cattle trucks!
Well done David & Lee. I am sure this area will have plenty of support. I agree. Well done, David. Great stuff.
A great contribution and use of your 'whined' for POW Section. I don't think anyone actually noticed your whining, but they do recognize the contribution. Moreover, you can see by the huge use of the new POW section in such a short period of time, that you were whining for others as well as yourself. Well done.

They say there are a million stories in the "Naked City" but I feel, just a few more to do with our prisoners of war.
