Hi, hope this is the correct forum for this query. i'm trying to find out about my uncles wartime service.i've already had great help on this site with info on his service abroad,i'd also like to find out what or where his home postings would entail. he served with the argyle and sutherland highlanders from 1939 until he was killed in 1942.any general info on what a soldier would be doing on a day to day basis would be welcome. p.s. he went awol three times on his second home posting after returning from the bef. regards,john
