Put your self in Hitler's place.
What would you have done differently than Hitler?
I know we now have hindsight.
What decisions would you have made to try and win the war. Be it by Air, Land and Sea.
Would you have bothered with the V weapons?
Would you have attacked Russia at all?
Would you have made the Me262 a fighter/bomber?
    Etc, etc etc.
Be nice to hear what you all think. Keep it friendly.
I know best thing would have been not to start a war in the first place.

BoB - listen to the actual fliers and not some gas bloated eejit to be sure the RAF was finally finished before moving onto the towns.
Russia - wouldn't even have gone there until after Britain was dealt with, IF AT ALL.
V Weapons - Hell yes! Develop them until i could whack America from on far.
Developed fighter-bombers from the start, not just mess around with an existing bird.
U boats - develop and give them support, no matter what. Everything has bad times, so there's no need to pull the plug because of a bad couple of months.
Japan - wouldn't have got involved with them at all. Ditto for Italy.
But that's just me, Hitler was totally unbalanced and couldn't think his way through a corkscrew in a whirlwind. Bet you're glad you weren't fighting me, huh?
    Kitty.

I can't remember what the figures are but someone told me how much the V weapons cost in manpower and materials, it was a fantastic drain on the war effort.
If I did defeat Britain, would I still be strong enough to attempt to overpower Russia? Could Russia ever be overpowered?

Build a reliable 4 engine high altitude strategic bomber hit England and the Urals

Aircraft carriers to blockade UK...use with type XXI walther close cycle engine turbined teardrop hull submarines that go 30knots submerged.

No V-1 go straight to V2...no Natter, Komet

Enhance Tiger and Panther designs. Panther tank with 88mm.

    BoB...concentrate on airfields

    Bismarck, air support, U-Boat support

Better coordination between armed services remove petty rivalries

Use captured technology to better designs.

    Take Malta before Greece

Better prepare for Crete don't loose as many FJ

Continue to use FJ as airborne strikers but develop better aircraft than 30s vintage JU 52.

Drop tanks for BoB, don't use Stukas or Me-110s until have full air superiority.

Develop follow on to the Stuka.

Play the H/S pact longer to finnish up in other Theatres of Ops

Well, not being the moronic leader of a moronic antisemitic government would have greatly helped as well.

    Some very good ideas, Herroberst.
What about the FW Condor? Any good?
How would you counter the P51?
Hitler probably had the best Army the world has ever seen. I would have trusted my Field Marshals better.
Maybe used the 4 rota Engima for everything and not trusted it as unbreakable.

    With hindsight..

    Air.
Not trust fatty Goering. Long range Bombers.
    Land.
    Trust My Generals.
    Sea.
Attempt to concentrate and make Make more use of my capital ships. Maximum research on Uboots.
Would you have bothered with the V weapons?
    Nahh.
Would you have attacked Russia at all?
Only If my generals said I was allowed.
Would you have made the Me262 a fighter/bomber?
I would definitely have had someone else make the 262, these shaking hands are no good with fiddly things.
    Hitlers shoes?
    Slingbacks.

Fw Condor was an attractive aircraft but it was a modified airliner would have liked to have a designated combat 4 engine model better developed to take the stress of war.

Your op on the Condor? Sounds like a thread to me.

P-51, great plane capture one and make it better.

Codes are meant to be broken change them often;)

Cant get into the spirit of what other people posts cant you bloke ? Or you migh tell us that the whole Final Solution policy or the whole attitude of the Nazis in Eastern Europe wasnt counterproductive military speaking ?

And Napoleon would still have been better though.

Heavy bombers, invade Britain, grab hold of a ocuple of Lancasters, and then build more of them!
I think Hitler wore some very fetching stilletos. Possible pink ones.

I know best thing would have been not to start a war in the first place.

I would have avoided trying to proudce guns and butter, and totalized the war economy. That way I would have more of everything. I would also have stressed naval and air production, so as to make See Lowe happen. Once I had conquered England, and seized Bletchley Park, I would have made Enigma tighter. Then, as head of united Europe, I would march on North America, and save Stalin for last. And after conquering the United States, I would look forward to meeting Betty Grable. What a tomato!

Ahh, Betty, lovely. Prefer Olivia DeH thou.

What about your Field Marshalls and Generals? Who would you keep and who would you get rid of?
You would have to take Britain out.

Hmmm...Since you're the spelling experten Herren...Do you mean? Can't get into the spirit of what other people post, Can you bloke? Bloke, I thought you were French...so maybe Dirlo(Take 2)...Or you might tell us that the whole Final Solution policy...oops run on sentence...or the whole attitude of the NSDAP in Eastern Europe wasn't counterproductive militarily speaking...which makes about as much sense as you do...If you meant be a little more sensitive to the Holocaust....which doesn't belong in this thread. Then it might have made some sense and maybe I'd be a bit more forgiving of your poor manif. Try a joke...even if It's a stab...But whining...You're pretty good at that. Looks like you need a trip to Eilat, catch some rays maybe go on a date...Then Elba is nice this time of year;)
