Just for interest … stamps sent from Germany during Ww2
As my grandfather (Grenadier Guards) was injured at Anzio and shipped off to a POW camp in eastern Germany (Altengrabow Stalag X1A) I’m assuming these may have been on letters sent home by him
Hope they are of interest to someone

Bought my brother a whole sheet of them years back.
Granny's Stamp albums contained what we were told were a 'complete' set too. Various colours & sizes, various portraits.

    Traces...
Not a nice head of state, but a head of state nonetheless.

OSS Skull stamp has made me laugh in the past.
Said to have been produced and injected into the German postal service.
Don't have enough knowledge to know the full story or if there's much veracity to it. Might have to ask Lee/Psywar.

The Himmler postage stamp is much more fun, part of a wider Political Warfare Executive "Himmler for President" covert propaganda campaign which suggested Himmler and the Waffen SS were planning a coup.

The skull stamp was part of the OSS Operation Cornflakes. I did have a load of details about it on my website, which one day I might get around to resurrecting.

All these fake postage stamps are themselves heavily faked.
