    Hi Paul I have the history (chapter 8 covers Sept). What do you need from it? Not sure how to add a thumbnail of the pages to the reply but can do so , if you tell me how.

    The fact that the HLI of Canada were front and centre at Dieppe - and should your Grandfather have been there should be enough

    Photo seems to show he was Armoured Corps at some point, so I'd guess likely remustered as infantry in Spring 1944 or later.
