Help with service uniform identification please

Hello
I'm trying to research my grandads service history.
My grandad lived in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire so I think he may have been with the Duke of Wellingtons but I'm not really too su I have his Merchant Navy discharge book number and have applied for his seamans pouch and I know he served in the army and the airforce but don't have his service numbers or any other information about where he served etc.
I do have photos of him in some of his uniforms and I wondered if it might be possible to identify anything from these?
I have made an album with some pictures of him in his different uniforms and would be so grateful if anyone could help me with any information they could offer. I don't know how to attach a photo but I've made my album with the photos of my grandad public so anyone can take a look
