Help with identifying an epaulette of soldier in the Far East.

    Hello,

    I would appreciate some help with identifying the epaulette slide on my great uncles left shoulder. It seems to be dark green/black.

    The back round information i know is that he was in the RFA (ta) before the war, then RA during. As far as i know he was in the far east(Burma etc) for the duration he was deployed.I should know more when he service papers arrived.

    It could simply be an 'RA' title?

    I thought that may be the case but I cannot find an RA tab like that anywhere
