Can anyone please explain what the following means? GHQ 2 Ech Pt II offrs "X" List RWF No. 28 24/6/44 refers
Angela IF you can publish the whole sheet -it might help BUT at the moment the main thrust is concealed by the instructions from HQ so the meat appears to be that the subject was under X(ii) which is the sick list - so he would have prior to this SOS - unit - X(ii) - then TOS unit OR X(iV) awaiting transfer Cheers
Angela As Tom says, can you post all the records please as there are members who can help. More about x lists here http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/15663-x-lists-service-records/ RWF - is that something to do with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers??? Lesley
Hi At a guess General HeadQuarters 2 Echelon Part II officers "X" List RWF (Royal Welsh Fusiliers as above) No. 28 on 24/6/44 what it all means ??? apart from X list - sick list as Tom said regards Robert
