I'm looking for excerpts of the Regimental Histories and/or War Diaries of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders re Operation Blockbuster (Feb/March 1945). Both belonged to the 10th Inf Bde of the 4th Cdn Armoured Division.

I could also do with the Regt History and War Diary of the Fort Garry Horse for the same period of time, which was in the independent 2nd Armoured Brigade.

I need these documents for a tour I will conduct in the area shortly with family of Canadian veterans.

I am sure someone will provide but if not I contacted the Argyll and Sutherland Highlander museum via its web page recently and they provided me with copies of a short section of a Unit history. All they asked was a small donation.

What are the exact dates you need ?
I've got the Argylls history (based on war diary) upstairs.

I know of another member who has a copy of "Black Yesterdays; The Argylls War".

I can provide you with the war diaries for Feb-Mar 1945 for the Lincoln and Welland Regiment and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. I also have the regimental history (new one) for the Fort Garry Horse. I have your email and will gather up these documents today. I will send you a link to download them.
