I am trying to track when these batteries were part of 52 LAA Regiment but have conflicting information. For 100 Bty, Frederick says formed Aug 39 in 52 LAA but under 52 LAA Rgt he states "Sep 43 by now 100 Bty had joined." In a reply on here in Feb 2013, dryan67 says it was a new bty in Oct 41 & Routledge agrees with this in his Order of Battle for Egypt Oct 41. Has Frederick got his dates wrong? Was 100 Bty formed in Aug 41 joining 52 LAA Rgt by Sep 41? Opinions please & any confirmation. Frederick has 195 LAA Bty joining 52 LAA Rgt in Oct 43 from 65 LAA Rgt & dryan67 agrees but Routledge has 195 Bty in 52 LAA Rgt in Jan 43 in 18 AA Brigade in Egypt. Again opinions & any confirmation.
