NSRW cropped up on a recent thread, it also appears on other threads but nowhere can I find what this Unit/Organisation was. It appears in the RA Attestation Rolls as 'Extracted to NSRW' but I don't know whether this is exclusive to the RA. Anyone help with an explanation? Cheers, Tim
Thinking completely outside the box may I throw in a different meaning: Not Suitable Record Withdrawn or something to that effect.
Thanks but it's listed as 'National Service Reserve Wing' in the list of abbreviations supplied with Service Records. It has also been quoted as such by members in other threads but so far as I can see never with an explanation as to what it was. Someone must know! Tim
