Help identifying this bit of kit

    Thought to be american, but no idea as to its use. Anyone know?

    The 'C' encircled broad arrow is usually found on Canadian equipment. The webbing ends are clearly 1937 webbing type...No idea what it is though.

    is it a speaker / microphone holder, worn on the chest (straps around the neck)........

    Yes why didn't I think of that!, they were found in a box with two hand microphones!! The small button is for pushing the microphone handle switch in. Thanks so much!

    Would this of been used by a tank driver as their were two tank driver headsets and a Ty throat microphone as well
