    Hello Paul,

So glad David Brook came up with the goods ...

Below is the man himself, still today playing an active role within the GPRA.

David Brook can be seen in the first colour photograph: he looks very like Clark Gable to me! Sorry, but I don't know who the soldier is standing next to the sign post.

So glad your friend Larry is in for a special Xmas present.

Just thought you all might like to know that I visted Larry today and gave him his photo and the copy of 'The Eagle'. He was extremely pleased with it and was amazed at how many people had given their time and efforts to make it happen. He asked me to pass on his thanks to all of you and wish you all a Happy Christmas!

    Thanks again everyone! :)

    All the best..............

    Hello Philip,

    WOW !!!

Is Dad going to appear in another Airborne booklet?
If so, thank you so much for including this photograph of him and his glider pilot mates all standing together under the wing of a Horsa glider. I've also seen the other similar image the IWM hold.

    Dad's memory lives on ............

    Best wishes,
Lindsay : (daughter of Lt. J.F. Hubble)

Thank you ... when you have finished writing your booklet about the Horsa Glider, please would you be kind enough to let me know where I might obtain a copy.

Photograph for you of a Horsa landing on LZP during Varsity.
