Hi all, been cleaning out garage and have come across a helmet. Doesn't look British to me, but is it WW2 era and if so, is it American?? Thanks for reading, Mark.
Its a British Mark IV helmet Mk IV helmet - Wikipedia there should be a date on the liner, near the X where it attaches to the helmet shell
Certainly could not be American, as US helmets consisted of two pieces, the liner and the metal shell.
