My father died when I was in my 20s, and I know very little about his army service, so would welcome and information on the 75th anti tank regiment during WW2. Thanks in anticipation. I have uploaded a Xmas card that was sent to my Mother during his invasion trek.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum.

You have attached a Xmas Card likely from Xmas 1945 when 75 Anti Tank Regt were serving with Guards Division (you can see the Divisional Sign the All Seeing Eye).

However they did not join the Guards Division until June 1945 (on its creation following the disbandment of Guards Armoured Division) and had been part of 11 Armoured Division from 1942.

They had fought with the 11 Armoured Division from Normandy to VE Day hence the card also has 11th Armoured Divisional sign on it as well.

Have you checked to see if his Tracer card survives? they have some on Ancestry ...if you don't have access and would like me to search and see if his tracer card is there just message me and I'll look (my Father's 65th Anti tank was there but it seems to be pot luck on what they have) Val also there is a public facebook group that you might find interesting

Welcome to the throng, Edwin. This post of mine concerning the DRAMA reports and the RA Museum may also be of help to you (different regiment but same concept):
