Hello everyone! No doubt I'm in the right place for help relating to 350 photo's I have just received from my cousin. All of the photo's belonged to my uncle who was in the lifeguards from 1944-1948.In 1945 he was stationed in Berlin then onto Egypt and finally Palestine. I believe the lifeguards formed as the armoured car guards in 1945. My uncle is on a few of the photo's and there is a few staff names on the back of some but the majority of them have place names and dates written on the back, Goslar, Montgommerey barracks, Berlin etc, There's also about 20 postcards of pre-war Berlin also set of (what looks like propaganda photo's) of Hitler, rallies, etc these have german print on the back of them. There's also photographs of British soldiers posing in front of Swastikas. I will set up my scanner and share them with the site within the next week. Regards Pete.
Welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing some of those photos. Thanks for offering to share them with us.

Pete an interesting start, but yes these three year olds are certainly a great help with anything technical. Brian
