    (Brit. & Comm.)There was a specific Command conversion of the stripped out M14 produced and issued for D-Day+. This had a large map table, provision for radios and a black-out canopy so interior lights could be used. Unfortunately the M14 had no rear door so access was over the sides (there was an instruction for workshops on how to fit a rear door in M14s however seems rarely done. Later vehicles in HQs are usually M5 or M9 with improvised raised sides and 'hard tops' as in your photo.

    Found this one in mom's attic. I think that date must have been added by my dad.

    The Germans must have captured an M2. :) I'm sure I would have been expelled from school for several reasons if this was drawn today.
