A colleage has an entry in the Royal Artillery Attestations Records that has a relative discharged to 'HAA/S' - what does this stand for? I'm guessing Heavy Anti-Airi - but 'S'? School? Thanks in advance!
HAA = Heavy Anti Aircraft but what /S is I don't know. Could be Survey. Unlikely to be Searchlight as these were designated SL in their own right. Tim
