Just uploaded a group picture of 226 Field Company taken in about 1943 It's in the Gallery here http://ww2talk.com/forums/gallery/image/23050-226-field-company-rec1943/ I have a higher resolution version if anybody wants a copy. There is a sign in the backgrounf saying something like ????E KENNING - does anybody have any ideas where this could be? My wife's father is in the picture and according to his records he served with 226 Field Coy mostly in Skegness and briefly in Halton if that gives any clues. I have found this picture on the internet of a place called Kenning House in Skegness at this web address:- http://www.geolocation.ws/v/P/68488904/kenning-house-skegness/en It looks very similar - I wonder if it is the same place?
