Grave marker Cameron Highlanders

    Hi,

    I recently received pics that were taken by an American Air Force member. Most were taken in North Africa and Sicily.
    This photo is of a grave of a Cameron Highlander, Pte. P. Sam..son, or something like that.
    Seeing such a photo, I always wonder if it is known who this man was and what happened.

    Anyway, I leave the pic here as there will be people with more knowledge about this then I have.

    Thank you guys. Apparently you know the way to those sources a lot better than I do :) (me focusing on US Troop Carrier).
