Gerry Chester : WW2 Veteran Gerry Chester, one of our own, was interviewed by the team from 'DIg WW2' today and hopefully some of the material recorded will be used in the part of the programme that deals with the fighting on the Hitler Line in May 1944. For anyone interested - the small indentation on the end of Gerry's nose - is a healed war wound suffered when his nose got in the way of piece of Shrapnel in North Africa- and NOT by sticking it in where it didn't belong Cheers Gerry
Well done Gerry. Congratulations. The years have been kind to you. Some water under the bridge but you certainly look very fit and hearty. Regards, Tim
