I can't believe the wonderful work you do and have just email you a photo for a quote on restoring it!

Edited to add: If anyone is hesitating to get Roger/PristineImage to restore and/or colour old photos, here's what mine look like (sample). Can't wait to get them!
Oh, and Rog is wonderful to deal with.

Deacs Well i am from Cumbria.

Rog has done quite alot for me and i would highly recommend his work, if you want any pictures or documents restored do not hesitate get them done the work is exceptional.

I will attach my grandas war records later to show the difference from the rubbish ones that was sent from the MOD to the ones that Rog did. (Once i get the laptop off my eldest )

    Michael.

    I'm all about paid endorsements!;)

BTW, seeing Roger's wonderful work encouraged me to try a restoration/colouring myself.

Here are the results: My mother wearing my father's uniform. Far from perfect and nowhere near Roger's impeccable work, but it was fun to do!

No, I've never done this before. That took sooo long and so many tries to get the colours anywhere near right. But thank you for that comment!

Thank you also for inspiring me to make the attempt.:)

Hi all - Thank you to the members who've recently emailed to ask how things are doing - your continued support means so much. In order to repeat the success of the offer i made, i approached a similar site with a similar offer. After 32 views and no replies i finally got a reply from a moderator saying

This forum doesn't really enjoy new members pimping themselves without first starting relevant threads and discussions. Please jump into the forum and take part in discussions, then you might acquire some interest.
I don't really know a great deal about WW2 to chip in and discuss but thanks to the members here i am learning. It never mattered here. You knew instantly when you were on to a good thing with my offer. The kindness, warmth and continued support of the members of THIS forum seems unique.

Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth...

Rog, why not bung your site into your signature - No problem from my perspective, and Links make the world go round.

The thought also occurs - would you like a link in our Links section?
I think you've done enough favours for the chaps to more than justify it.

Adam - What can i say? I'd be delighted to have a link here!

By way of thanks i'm repeating the offer. It's back on. I've got to be at the allotment at 10.30 but will return in the afternoon so that gives enough time to have a dig through your family albums and see if there's any tatty artefacts that need sprucing up. All quotes revoked on current jobs and recent enquiries from this forums members.

Owen you're right about the other forum.

Great news Rog, thanks very much! Does that include my Grandad's RN picture?
