Hello all, I wonder if you can assist me, I have recently sent away for my fathers record of service for WW2, the information provided was sent to me ( on photo copies of his record ) has been of great use to me in my quest in collating his theatre on action during this period, , On the form (543) there are two areas that have been difficult to understand and track down, what is meant by the entry " see also Form 3905 A Supplementary Record of Service" and also the details around a stamp under the "miscellaneous" column "ANNUAL FILMING FEB 1944 and NOV 1944" ? Hi Keith, The "Annual Filming" entry relates to him having a copy of his records put on microfilm. If the originals were permanently misplaced or lost a record of his service would still be available. Can't help with Form 3905 though I'm afraid. Rgds Pete
