    also, get your friends in the US to buy the books and email
    them to you - I can not believe UK publishers are charging the
    same prices for Kindle books as paper ones.

    In the US this last christmas they sold more kindle than real books.

    You might also like the Internet Archive, they have a host of
    WW1 books out of print downloadable for kindle.

    other reading machines are available!

    but I love my Mrs' kindle!
