    Hi and welcome Teresa

TO post photos, when you are in the Quick Reply box, see the Go Advanced button on he bottom. click on that and it opens up a heap of other things. Scroll down and you will see Manage attachments and follow through with that. Watch your file size though, there is a limit.

My Dad was in the 8th Army also as a driver, but with AA guns not AT.
He was in North Africa and Italy.

The best thing to do is to apply for his service records-
Ministry of Defence | About Defence | What we do | Personnel | Service Records | Making a Request for Information held on the Personnel Records of Deceased Service Personnel and Home Guard records
It takes a while, but worth it.

Also have a look here - The Royal Artillery Museum - Firepower - Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, London, UK

    regards

    Robert

    Teresa.

I would be interested to see the photos of your father and his Army Number. This may help determine which Regiment/Corps he was in especially as you already know that he was wounded at Anzio.

Anti-tank gunners were either in the Royal Artillery or, for the smaller sized weapons, in the Infantry.

I look forward to seeing the information.

    Regards

    Teresa.

From the two photos of your father, I cannot work out which Corps or Regiment he was in.

Do you have any pics which show a cap badge?

    Regards

    Hi
I am new to this site, and recently retired. I am trying to put together my fathers acties during WW2 with very little success. All I have to go on is his name and a number on his dog tags, which are

Christoper Edward Fegan (Dog tag No.) T194970

I believe hewas at one time attached to REME and was a corporal.

Any guidance would be great - Thanks
