Facebook,Instagram and Whats app all down ? Never used any of them so cannot really miss what I never had For some though its their life (literally) so for their sake hopefully it returns soon. Kyle
I quit Facebook on 1st Jan this year...yes, it was my New Year Resolution! I also block all things Facebook on my laptop with "Facebook Container"...so no more targeted ads, no more feeling like Mark Suckerberg is looking over my shoulder, no more phoney friends ...and I also save about 10 hours per week that I would have spent wading through kitten videos! I talked my family and a few of my [real] friends into opening Telegram accounts, so I can now communicate with individuals or with small groups (i.e. messaging, audio or video calls, sharing photos & so on). No more broadcasting, no more targeted ads, no more Suckerberg, no more phoney friends, no more hassle...I love it!
I found that setting up a Private Facebook Group (invite only) is a cheap and easy way of online storage and distribution. I have one where I uploaded all my family photos/films for them all to access. It is free, very easy to use you don't get involved in idiotic stupid' you have the opposite political views to me and need to be killed immediately insanity. Hopefully the storm now heading Zuckenberg's way will (eventually)bring an end to the practise of using these platforms to act and talk like a complete and utter rsole without any real fear of comeback. All those nodding in agreement whilst at the same time being involved in regular on-line screaming matches-you are hypocrites!
