Exercise Longstop

    Obtained some Airborne memrobilia today, including some of these pics of exercise Longstop, they appear to have been taken by private camera, so I am sharing them here, not quite WW2, but a big thing at the time, have shown the reverse of the photos with the scant information, hope they are of interest to someone. have also got "myselfs" pay book so I know who he is.

    Thanks, Lofty. I've got quite a bit on 'Longstop', ready for an article in the GPRA's 'The Eagle', as it included Hamilcars and Horsas. I believe it was also the first time that jeeps were air dropped.
